面對賽前4連勝的雷霆，馬刺今天(26日)打出高水準球賽，終場以130比91大勝對手，老將Tim Duncan還投進本季第2顆三分球。
雷霆最近有火熱到不行的Russell Westbrook，但是面對團隊戰力堅強的衛冕軍馬刺，同樣是踢到鐵板。
靠著第2節淨勝17分優勢，馬刺逐步擴大領先，最終以39之差大勝雷霆，打得雷霆一點辦法都沒有。
馬刺登錄13人全都上場，其中12名球員獲得分數，老將Duncan貢獻16分6籃板，第3節中段還飆進本季第2顆三分球。
賽後馬刺總教練Gregg Popovich說：「我認為關鍵在於，球隊表現像是一定要贏球的樣子。穩定一直是球隊追尋的目標，現在的我們還沒做到。」
Westbrook出手16投5中拿到16分，賽後他說：「他們打得更加賣力，簡單來說，我們沒有準備好。」
